I think the most teenagers would prefer films like "Spiderman: Far From Home" as it includes school students around the same age as them so it has relatable characters and instances like how they are on a school trip in the movie but still includes a lot of action.

Five ingredients that make an action film popular:

-A challenge for the protagonist 

- A powerful antagonist

- Memorable supporting characters

- Angst 

- Make the protagonist a relatable character

A film that explores a relevant social issue is Black Widow, as it involves young women resisting against a powerful, old, rich man and fighting against him trying to use and control them to essentially rule the world. It gives the message of female empowerment and the importance of family, and the problems that women face in today's society. Women and girls of all backgrounds who were stolen or bought  are treated as nothing, empty vessels to be filled. They are programmed and designed to be story-less, feeling-less weapons as if they are worthless and disposable. It shows women breaking free and getting revenge on the man who treated them so awfully and ruined their lives.

Recipe to an action/adventure trailer

INGREDIENTS

-A male protagonist who is strong in some way

-An antagonist who is as powerful as the hero but EVIL

-Guns and/or superhero weapons (advanced)

-Gradual pacing in clips, speeds up with the music

-Dramatic music that gains intensity

METHOD

1: Take a strong, male hero and make him special in some way - super powers, spy, scientist, adventurer etc.

2: Add an evil antagonist who has something against this hero, and wants to kill him. Make the villain have a valid motive and a sad/unfair back story.

3: Sprinkle a healthy amount of car chases and fight scenes using guns.

4: Whisk in serious, intense music with quickening clips.

5: Bake all of this at 180C in a gas oven and christen with a few mafia themes and death.

GENRE=HORROR

Protagonist = Charlotte Taylor ( Played by Florence Pugh )

Antagonist =  John Smith ( Played by David Tennant ) 

Setting = An abandoned school 

Props/ costume / SFX = a massive sharp ruler / a headmaster from the victorian era costume 

Sound and music = eerie creepy music, a school bell, rising tension, screams

Shot types and movement = extreme closeup, establishing shot, 

STORYLINE= Charlotte Taylor is a schoolgirl who loves to post to youtube. She does exploring videos with her friends, and when they find out there's an abandoned school they head there. Charlotte leads them in, but they prank her and lock her in. Charlotte continues to film inside and hears screaming noises and a school bell ringing. John Smith is the headmaster - or was - of the abandoned school. John Smith killed all of the children at the school and never left - and the dead souls of the children haunt the halls. Charlotte needs to escape but with John Smith giving her challenges - equations, questions, tests - with a deadly consequence if you get it wrong.
